The campgrounds were impeccable maintained and the staff was incredibly nice and helpful. We had a tire that was low on air and Jason noticed it as he was filling our propane. He brought down an air compressor and helped us fill it up without hesitation.
Traveling 6 hours and concert was cancelled. We were to stay 1 night. I called 47 hours in advance to cancel. As soon as I found out. JASON said the limit was 48 hours and would not refund my money. Charged me $69 . Very unreasonable. I asked if he would refund if he was able to fill the spot and he said no. Very RUDE. I don't care how nice it is.
It had cute lizards crawling everywhere and a public pool. They provided you with a fire pit and a cabin to sleep in. The cabin had a loft, futon, and a regular bedroom. It had everything else that a hotel had, plus a fireplace and kitchen. You could even swim in the lake! The only thing that sucked was the pool went to 5ft deep at max. They cleaned it every single night though. They also had a place for trailers to stay at. They gave them a fire pit too. It's a good place for dogs. Sadly not a lot of stars were visible due to the trees but you could see the eclipse that recently happened clearly!
Our family has stayed at many campgrounds and many KOA's this was one of the best experiences we have had. They were very friendly, helpful and the property was very well put together. Will definitely use again if we are out that way!
Welcomed by the sweetest host ever. The bathrooms are clean and the showers are very nice and spacious. Theirs a playground for the kids. A nice little hiking trail. Just a wonderful get away place.
